About Hercules Heat Treating

You won’t find layers of management and bureaucracy here.
Just dedicated experts ready to get the job done with precision and efficiency.

Since 1949, when the founding Rizzo family established Hercules Heat Treating in Brooklyn after WWII, our expert team have been heat treating metal to exacting standards.

We specialize in materials for aerospace, including landing gear, airframe parts. Over the decades we’ve furnished quality parts for major commercial aircraft (including Boeing’s 737, 747, 757, and 767), military fighter jets (including the F18, F22 and F35), and more.

We’re acclaimed in our industry for delivering exceptional craftsmanship with swift and outstanding service. We are an approved contractor with the US Military, and all the “primes” in aerospace, including Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman and United Technologies/Sikorsky Aircraft, and more.

Our Team

For more than seven decades, and three generations, the Rizzo family has proudly led Hercules Heat Treating into the future of aerospace. Heat treating technology has evolved tremendously since our company was founded in 1949, and we’ve continued to evolve to meet the demands of each new requirement.

Today we’re a diverse team of about 50 people, including including metallurgical, mechanical and quality engineers. The Rizzo family continue to oversee daily operations and consult with Hercules’ customers.
